The 8th International Conference on the Tear Film & Ocular Surface: Basic Science and Clinical Relevance will occur from 7-10 September 2016, at the Corum in Montpellier, France. This Conference is sponsored by TFOS and is designed to assess the current knowledge and 'state of the art' research on the structure and function of tear film producing tissues, tears and the ocular surface in health and disease.

 

The TFOS Conference will also promote an international exchange of information that will be of value to basic scientists involved in eye research, to clinicians in the eye care community, and to companies with an interest in the diagnosis and/or treatment of tear film or ocular surface disorders.

The 7th International Conference on the Tear Film & Ocular Surface: Basic Science and Clinical Relevance

September 18-21, 2013, Taormina, Sicily.

 

This Conference is designed to:

Assess the current knowledge and 'state of the art' research on the structure and function of tear film-producing tissues, tears and the ocular surface in both health and disease

Promote an international exchange of information that will be of value to basic scientists involved in eye research, to clinicians in the eye care community, and to pharmaceutical and device companies with an interest in the treatment of tear film or ocular surface disorders.

The attendance at the last conference, which occurred in Florence, Italy in 2010, exceeded that of the previous Taormina 2007 Conference. More than 600 scientists, physicians and industry representatives from more than 30 countries, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, UK, United Arab Emirates and the United States registered as active participants.


 

The 6th International Conference on the Tear Film & Ocular Surface: Basic Science & Clinical Relevance

This Conference is designed to:
