Pham Ngoc Dong
Pham Ngoc Dong is a corneal specialist at the Vietnam National Institute of Ophthalmology in Hanoi, Vietnam. He was one of the first Vietnamese corneal specialists who performed DSAEK and Boston Keratoprosthesis in Vietnam, and he discovered that Norcadia, microsporidia were the new causes of keratitis in Vietnam. Dr. Dong was one of the founders and Director of the first eye bank in Vietnam. His main subspecialties are corneal surface diseases, corneal transplantation, corneal infection, lacrimal disorders, and the eye bank. Now Dr. Pham Ngoc Dong is Vice Director of Vietnam National Institute of Ophthalmology.
